ServiceNow Lookup: Quick Access to Service-Now Tickets on Chrome
ServiceNow Lookup is a free Chrome add-on developed by DM Productions that brings Service-Now functionality to your browser. With this add-on, you can quickly access Service-Now tickets through a convenient address bar reference or a context menu when selecting text on a site.
To access a ticket, simply type 'sn' followed by a space on the address bar, and then enter the ticket prefix (such as RFC, INC, CTASK, etc.). This eliminates the need for manual navigation through your Service-Now site, saving you time and effort.
The add-on recognizes various ticket prefixes, including RFC for Change Request, INC for Incident, CTASK for Change Task, REQ for SC Request, TASK for SC Task, RITM for SC Request Item, KB for Knowledge Base Item, and PRB for Problem. If a prefix is not recognized, the add-on automatically redirects you to the Service-Now text search interface to find any matches.
Before using the add-on, you will need to configure your Service-Now hostname for accessing your interface. This can be done by clicking the 'Options' button for the Service-Now Lookup Extension under the 'Extensions' menu.
